History of Pyjamas/Pajamas

The Pajama or a Pyjama is a piece of clothing/apparel, worn by men, women and children. Normally made of light loose fabrics which accounts for the comfortable feel of the garment and providing a warmth for all resting needs.

Looking back in time, the pajama originates in Persia and was introduced to British Men in the 17th Century as a casual attire while relaxing. During the late 1800's (colonial era) the "PAJAMA" became ever popular with western man and from there is has spring boarded into the worldwide market place along with every ones bed!

Today, not only acting as a functional piece of sleepwear/loungewear pajamas also know as pj's are finding there way out of the bedroom and into the spotlight as a fashion statement on red carpet events, runways in Milan and also at the local mall!
